Jamal Thomas is the Publisher and CEO of Gumptown Magazine, a local urban business directory based in Montgomery, AL. Launched in 2011, Gumptown Magazine helps market small, and minority owned businesses and provides the latest in grassroots community news. Jamal earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Alabama State University in 2007 and a M.B.A. from South University in 2009. A native of Cleveland, OH, Jamal is a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Montgomery Capital Rotary Club, The Montgomery Chamber of Commerce, The Millbrook Chamber of Commerce, and a graduate Leadership Montgomery Class XXXIII.
