Vicki’s Amish Traditions is a growing furniture company with two locations in Vestavia Hills and Millbrook, Alabama. Our company specializes in high-quality hardwood furniture that adds timeless appeal to any home. In addition to furniture, our stores offer a selection of handmade goods, including soaps, lotions, and home decor. Vicki’s Amish Traditions is dedicated to providing high-quality craftsmanship and personalized customer service.
Role Summary
This is a full-time, on-site role located in our Millbrook, AL store. As an intern, you'll have hands-on participation with business operations, store management, inventory coordination, customer services and sales techniques, marketing communications, and strategic planning. We believe in training from the ground up so you'll have the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of running a successful retail business.
Qualifications
- Strong drive, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
- Skills in business planning and general business operations.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Customer Service skills to enhance customer experiences.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively in a team.
- Proficiency in using business management tools and software is a plus.
- Pursuing or recently completed a Batchelor's Degree.
Compensation
This role offers hourly pay + performance based incentive. Compensation will be reviewed and adjusted based on completion of the internship program.
